About The Response

The Response is a multi-platform campaign, curated and produced by For Equality, with the aim of ensuring the voices of women are heard and needs prioritized in light of emerging issues.

The Response was launched as a campaign driven by the urgent need to ensure that women and girls are not left behind in the pandemic response i.e. their voices are heard and needs prioritized, and has evolved to respond to the existing gap in documentation of women’s lived experiences, especially in the context of multiple crises.

The Response is a platform dedicated to spotlighting Women’s voices, as such; both the podcast and newsletter prioritize contributions from women for all published articles, art and work published; as well as guests for the podcast.

In this episode, our host is joined by Award Winning Activist, Ndiilokelwa Nthengwe in a much-needed dialogue on the status of Access to Safe Abortion in Africa, giving examples of Malawi and Namibia.

We discuss the journey so far, the lessons learned, and the way forward

The Response will maintain a Zero tolerance policy toward any form of violence against women and girls, including any form of harassment- cyber or verbal- in content produced and published.

All contributors will be vetted to ensure the safe of The Response’s Audience and community of contributors, as well as adhering to For Equality’s policies on Discrimination, Sexual Harassment in order to maintain FE’s Values.
